Buyers usually don't know how the Selling REALTOR® gets paid and often think that Royal LePage pays them a salary which is not the case. REALTOR®S are paid only by commission. No sales - no income. The real estate representative for the seller and the real estate representative for the buyer generally split this commission 50/50 and then their respective fees come off the top.
Your Royal LePage representative actually pays to belong to the Royal LePage organization as they are Independent Contractors to Royal LePage and are responsible for ALL expenses of operating their personal real estate business.
What does that mean to you? It means your Royal LePage REALTOR® is prepared to invest his/her time and money while giving you the best service possible in hopes that you will be loyal to him/her and eventually purchase a property with his/her help and a commission paid is the result.
Certainly in each situation there is a leap of faith for our representative and on the premise that our representative does a good job for you. It is our hope that you will remain loyal to him/her until a suitable home is found.
Our REALTOR®S invest a lot of money per year to operate their personal real estate business, which includes office and real estate board fees, internet, advertising, yard signs, key boxes, computer equipment, stationery, business cards, cell phone expense, automobile maintenance, fuel expenses and of course their time. REALTOR®S are educated, licensed and insured.
Real estate sales is still one of the only professions that offers you a service without an expected up front fee or any fee for service unless a sale results.
We thank you for choosing ROYAL LEPAGE Nanaimo Realty.
